Dr. M. D. S. Sasidharan is the Clinical Lead & Senior Consultant – Department of Spine Surgery at Iswarya Hospital, OMR, Chennai, with over 12 years of exclusive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal disorders. A fellowship-trained spine surgeon, he is dedicated to delivering world-class, patient-centric spine care by combining cutting-edge technology with evidence-based clinical practice. He is internationally trained in India, Germany, and South Korea, with prestigious fellowships including the Association of Spine Surgeons of India (ASSI) Fellowship, AO Spine Fellowship, and advanced training in Endoscopic Spine Surgery. He is among the select spine surgeons trained in Vertebral Body Tethering (VBT), an advanced motion-preserving, non-fusion technique for scoliosis correction. Dr. Sasidharan is widely recognized for his expertise in ultra-minimally invasive endoscopic (keyhole) spine surgery, robotic-assisted spine surgery, navigation-guided spinal procedures, motion-preserving spine surgery, complex revision spine surgery, and adult & pediatric scoliosis correction.
