The Department of Radiology & Imaging at Iswarya Hospital offers a comprehensive range of advanced diagnostic imaging services powered by state-of-the-art equipment and expert radiologists. Our imaging centre operates round the clock to support emergency, inpatient and outpatient needs across all specialties.

CT Scan (128-Slice Multi-Detector CT): Our Siemens 128-slice CT scanner delivers high-resolution images of the brain, chest, abdomen, spine and blood vessels within minutes. We perform CT angiography for stroke and cardiac evaluation, CT-guided biopsies, virtual colonoscopy, and trauma scans with ultra-low radiation dose protocols.

MRI (1.5T High-Field MRI): Iswarya Hospital houses a 1.5 Tesla MRI system for detailed soft-tissue imaging. We offer MRI of the brain, spine, musculoskeletal system, abdomen, pelvis and breast. MR Angiography (MRA) maps blood vessels non-invasively. Our MRI suite is designed for patient comfort with a wide-bore scanner and in-bore entertainment.

Ultrasound & Colour Doppler: Our ultrasound department handles general abdominal scans, obstetric and gynecologic imaging (3D/4D), musculoskeletal ultrasound, thyroid scans, breast elastography, and vascular Doppler studies for deep vein thrombosis and carotid artery assessment. Bedside portable ultrasound is available in the ICU and wards.

PET-CT (Positron Emission Tomography): Our PET-CT suite combines metabolic and anatomic imaging for cancer staging, treatment response evaluation and recurrence detection. PET-CT is invaluable for lung, breast, colorectal, lymphoma and head-and-neck cancers and is available with FDG and other specialised tracers.

Digital X-Ray: Fully digital radiography provides instant high-quality images of the chest, bones, joints and abdomen with significantly lower radiation than conventional X-ray. Portable bedside X-ray is available 24/7 for ICU and emergency patients.

ECG (Electrocardiogram): 12-lead resting ECG and ambulatory (Holter) monitoring are available for detecting arrhythmias, ischemic changes, conduction abnormalities and other cardiac conditions. ECG is performed instantly in our emergency department for chest pain evaluation.

Echocardiography (2D Echo): Our cardiology imaging lab provides transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), stress echocardiography and Doppler studies. Echo assesses heart valve function, chamber size, ejection fraction and congenital heart disease with real-time visualisation.
