Prof. Dr. F. Abubacker Sulaiman

Prof. Dr. F. Abubacker Sulaiman is a highly experienced Radiologist with over two decades of expertise in diagnostic imaging. He obtained his MD in Radiodiagnosis in 2006 and has since been dedicated to delivering accurate diagnoses and advancing patient care through state-of-the-art imaging technologies. He further enhanced his international credentials by earning the prestigious European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) in 2017 and was awarded the Fellowship of the Indian College of Radiology and Imaging (FICR) in 2023. His areas of expertise include Neuroimaging, Cardiac Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Onco-Radiology, Fetal Imaging, and Non-vascular Image-guided Interventional Procedures. He is a recognized Postgraduate Teacher under the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation, UK. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Chapter of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA). He has previously held several key leadership positions within the association, including General Secretary and Central Council Member of TN & PY IRIA, as well as President and General Secretary of the Chennai Subchapter of TN & PY IRIA, playing a pivotal role in advancing radiology education, academic excellence, and professional development across the region. His dedication to clinical excellence, medical education, research, and professional leadership has earned him wide recognition among peers and students, making him one of the leading radiologists in India.
