National immunization schedule 2026 — quick reference
IAP immunization schedule 2026 (India)
Below is the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) immunization schedule for 2026, also called the IAP vaccination schedule. It is the standard national immunization schedule followed across India for children from birth to 18 years and is fully aligned with the Government of India's Universal Immunization Programme (UIP). This is also commonly searched as the "immunisation schedule" (UK spelling) or simply "vaccine schedule for baby in India".
Updated immunization schedule 2026 — at a glance
- Birth: BCG, OPV-0, Hepatitis B (1)
- 6 / 10 / 14 weeks: DTwP / DTaP, IPV, Hib, Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, PCV

Vaccination schedule for baby in India — first year summary
In the first 12 months, an Indian baby should receive: BCG, 3 doses of DTwP, 3 doses of IPV, 3 doses of Hib, 3 doses of Hepatitis B, 2–3 doses of Rotavirus, 3 doses of PCV, 1 dose of MMR, 1 dose of Typhoid conjugate, 1 dose of Hepatitis A and the first annual influenza shot.
How is this different from the CDC immunization schedule?
The IAP / India schedule includes additional vaccines that are routine in India because of disease prevalence — typhoid conjugate vaccine and Hepatitis A — which are not part of the CDC immunization schedule in the United States. The core childhood vaccines (DTaP, IPV, Hib, MMR, Varicella, PCV, Rotavirus, HPV) and their timing are otherwise very similar.
Where can I download the national immunization schedule 2026 PDF?
A printable national immunization schedule 2026 PDF is published by the IAP Advisory Committee on Vaccines and Immunization Practices (ACVIP) at iapindia.org. The chart on this page mirrors the latest IAP / national immunization schedule 2026 and is updated each calendar year.
