Dr. Leelavathy Kandaswamy is a highly experienced Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology as well as General Internal Medicine, with a career spanning clinical practice in India and the United Kingdom. She brings expertise in managing complex endocrine disorders, diabetes care, obesity, and metabolic conditions, with special emphasis on endocrine management in pregnancy. Trained at K.A.P. Viswanatham Government Medical College, Trichy (MBBS), Dr. Leelavathy completed her MRCP in Edinburgh, UK, followed by specialist certification (SCE) in Diabetes & Endocrinology and CCT in General Internal Medicine and Diabetes/Endocrinology. She has worked across prominent hospitals in India, including VHS Hospital, MGM Healthcare, and JSP Hospitals, and held senior consultant positions in the UK at Walsall Manor Hospital, Good Hope Hospital, and New Cross Hospital, gaining extensive experience in inpatient, outpatient, and critical endocrine care.
