About Medical Gastroenterology
Medically reviewed by Prof. Dr. G. Manoharan, Consultant Gastro Surgeon · Updated 9 October 2026
Medical Gastroenterology at Iswarya Hospital diagnoses and treats diseases of the stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder and pancreas without surgery. Most conditions, from acidity to liver disease, are managed with medicines, diet and endoscopic procedures.
Our endoscopy suite offers diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound, so stones, bleeding and blockages can often be treated during the same procedure that finds them. Surgical gastroenterology and liver transplant are available on the same campus if surgery becomes necessary.
