About Endocrinology
Medically reviewed by Dr. Amarnath Duraikannan, Senior Consultant – Endocrinology, Diabetology & Internal Medicine · Updated 9 October 2026
Endocrinology deals with the glands that produce hormones, including the thyroid, pituitary, adrenal glands and the hormones that control weight, growth and reproduction. Hormonal disorders often develop slowly and cause vague symptoms such as tiredness, weight change, hair loss or irregular periods.
Our endocrinologists diagnose these conditions with targeted blood tests and imaging available on site, and manage them with medication, lifestyle guidance and, when needed, referral for surgery.
