The Breast Cancer Centre at Iswarya Hospital brings screening, diagnosis, surgery and follow-up care together under one roof. Early detection matters most: breast cancer found at an early stage is highly treatable, and most women who are diagnosed early keep their breast.
Our surgical oncologists, radiologists, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists review every case together, so your treatment plan is decided by the whole team rather than a single doctor. Chemotherapy, radiotherapy and reconstruction, where needed, are all available on the same campus.
What We Treat & Offer
3D Mammography
Digital breast tomosynthesis takes thin-slice images of the breast, which improves detection in dense breast tissue and reduces call-backs compared with standard mammography.
USG Breast
Breast ultrasound is used alongside mammography to examine lumps, evaluate dense breasts and guide biopsies. It involves no radiation.
Image Guided Biopsy
A small tissue sample is taken from a suspicious area under ultrasound or mammographic guidance, giving a definite diagnosis without open surgery.
SLNB
Sentinel lymph node biopsy identifies and tests only the first lymph nodes that drain the breast, so many patients avoid a full axillary clearance and the arm swelling it can cause.
Conservative Breast Surgery
Breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy) removes the tumour with a margin of healthy tissue while preserving the breast, usually followed by radiotherapy.
Oncoplastic Breast Surgery
Cancer surgery combined with plastic surgery techniques to reshape the breast at the same sitting, giving a better cosmetic result without compromising cancer clearance.
